A Brief Report on our 3-Day Intensive Experiential Graphic/Type Design Workshop at Kherad Art House

Three fundamental elements shaped the essence of this dynamic 3-day workshop.

1. Encounter: Explore the essence of ‘encounter’ in graphic design—connecting emotions, perceptions, and fresh perspectives. Design isn’t just a tool; it’s a message that engages both internal and external worlds.

2. Constraint: Imagine design without digital tools or colors. Embrace limitations as opportunities for creativity. We delved into constraints and reframed them as pathways to impactful design.

3. Situation: Design goes beyond outcomes; it’s about crafting situations. Challenge norms, redefine patterns, and introduce fresh rules for a new audience perspective.

+ Using Perso/Arabic typography as our canvas, participants crafted unique works within these themes. Each journey unfolded uniquely, driven by shared materials and a fresh vision.
