So you've decided to invest in professional Backdrops & Styling Props?

Good for you my SaltyFriend 🥳
I'm SO stocked that you're into creating a cohesive portfolio of your Food/Product photos!!

BUT before you do, I am going to hit you with some real talk & helpful info that can assist you, especially if you are a beginner into backdrops & props & that is ⤵️

5 beginner things to check before investing into props:
🍪 start your collection with neutral colors in backdrops/props
🍪 combine two surfaces that match well together for your direct shots (use one as backwall & the second as table)
🍪 make sure the style of utensils you initially get, can be combined together to use them in many food stories
🍪 get soft Napkins - you don't want to waste time in styling a fabric when the food needs to remain fresh...
🍪 add to your collection at least one statement-prop, ex: a piece of wood, a cooling rack, a vintage dish

If you want more tips & advice on backdrops/props collections ➡️ Sign up to our Newsletter via the link in Bio 😍

Have a lovely day!!
