WTF is a modular collection? 🖤

Argentinian designers Mia Pereyra Matteazzi @mia_p____m and Azul Gonzalez Aparicio @azulgonzalezaparicio launched @studios_iam in Dubai four years ago. Both have been nominated for Emirates Woman of the Year 2026 ❤️

Now they’re building something new, and it starts with architecture. Mia shared their concept with us:

▪️ How the buildings of Dubai and Argentina shape their designs
▪️ What a modular collection is, and why it works
▪️ The first piece, revealed

Watch to the end for the first look 🖤

🔴 Save this for inspiration
⚫ Send it to a designer thinking differently about their collection

Back in Dubai. Humidity, spotless streets and customer service that spoils you. Matcha in hand, silky layers by I AM. Back at it.

Fashion shows, Hong Kong, Paris, opening our first store, matching PJs for dog walks… just a few things we’ve been up.

Somehow there’s always more going on. And we wouldn’t have it any other way 🤍
