“Rachel did my hair for my wedding on the 4th of September 2026, along with my maid of honour, mum, mother-in-law, and two sisters who were my flower girls. I am so pleased I came across her website and booked her to be part of the day; I cannot sing her praises highly enough! I was quite nervous for my trial as I never do anything with my hair and have never had it professionally styled, so I wasn’t sure what I wanted but Rachel eased my nerves instantly. I felt like I’d known her years, she’s so friendly and has such a fantastic energy! She took the time to talk about my ideas and helped me come to a decision of what would work best for me. On my wedding day she arrived at my house, settled in and got to work, she worked perfectly alongside my makeup artist and really brought the vibes you want for your wedding morning! We made a few tweaks to my style from the trial, and Rachel was incredibly understanding and such a hype woman when I asked for a few more minor changes once it was finished. I didn’t feel uncomfortable asking, she made sure I was 100% happy with my hair and made me feel incredible! I absolutely loved my hair on the day, and even on what may have been the windiest day of the year so far, it held so well all day! I had so many compliments on it. My maid of honour, mum, mother-in-law, and two sisters looked amazing too. They were all beyond pleased with their hair and have also sung Rachels praises since! I’d absolutely recommend booking in with Rachel, I couldn’t be happier to have had her be part of the day. The temperature in Chicago today was cooler but not crisp (63F/17.2C): Perfect for a Hopsack blazer with a heavier-weight linen waistcoat Blues, greens, and light tan/beige/yellow are the order of the day. The green necktie pulls together the green striped shirt and the prominent green paisley pocket square. Conventional wisdom dictates that the pattern of a necktie should be scaled larger than the pattern of the shirt; however, you can have a tie with a smaller pattern if that pattern is very discreet, such as the woven houndstooth pattern of this tie, which looks like solid green from arm's length. The blue eyeglasses frame reinforces the blue components. The waistcoat, khakis, hosiery, and suede shoes are in an all in a close range of colors.
