A moment for the Bridals 🤍

I knew I wanted to feel beautiful, comfortable, confident & like myself on our wedding day & I am so happy with how it all came together.

My gown was from @magnolialainebridal by @madilanebridal & it was the one my mom suggested I try on - it was our first shopping trip & I knew very quickly it was the one. It felt timeless and elegant and with @sarahkolisdesigns talent I was able to add lace to the bodice and the slit which I was obsessed with!!!

Sarah also took my mom’s blusher from her cathedral veil & turned it into the perfect short, light & 90’sesque veil of my dreams.

My bouquet was so incredibly special as it was inspired by my grandma Diane’s bouquet from 1965 - @studiowildefloral absolutely brought this vision to life with the few photos I have of her on her wedding day. She then wrapped the flowers in lace from my grandma towns wedding gown & pinned it with a blue brooch from my great grandma. I wish I could have these flowers set in a vase every single day.

Tyler’s suit was @bananarepublic with shoes from @tommyhilfiger because they were monogramed TH (how perfect is that), accessorized with his grandpa’s vintage seiko watch, a gold rope bracelet gifted from me as well a gold necklace from his parents.

My rings are @kenanddanadesigns from New York City, of course & my earrings were custom from Tyler as my wedding gift and read “love diane” 🥹🫶🏼

& ps @rachelnoelphoto did my makeup too!!!
my hair was a dream 90s blowout from our family business, Grondin’s Hair Center & Tyler had a fresh cut from @barberdrew!!

It was so important to us to be covered from head to toe in a look that felt intentional, sentimental & like us.

I want get dressed up with you forever & ever!!

I cannot believe a year ago we were preparing for our wedding day; without even realizing it, the leaves have changed again. I have so many photos that perfectly document our day from my beloved @rachelnoelphoto & our entire week as we prepared my papas house for the wedding we had always dreamed of. Finally sharing all of our detail photos - so much love & intention went into all of these. We wanted to keep our day simple, true to us, mostly decorated by the memories of my grandparents home & the change of the season.

Furniture that belonged to great grandparents & thrifted over two years covered by my grandmas tablecloths, adorned by photos taking up every inch of the space. Our guest book was an early 2000s coffee table book on “how to have the perfect at home wedding.” My papas wife - decorated their entry table with photos of me that she carefully sifted through & found in boxes my grandma had kept in the extra bedroom. My bouquet was designed by @studiowildefloral after my grandma Diane’s wedding bouquet from 1965; it was wrapped in lace from my grandmas town’s wedding gown, completed with a blue brooch from my great grandma. Tyler wore his late grandpas watch while I wore my mom’s blusher as my veil. We were wed beside a memory tree of photos of our loved one’s passed and we served our cake on Tyler’s grandparents wedding cake plate that his grandma gracefully gifted us months before. My mom thrifted our cake topper which we later realized was identical to my grandparents cake topper. Decorating this table was so important to me - the cake cutting photos of my parents & our grandparents sat beside my parents engraved cake knife from 1989 as well as a new engraved cake knife of ours that we can pass on to our kids someday.

@beneath.the.tree brought our vintage welcome sign at the end of our aisle to life. We were so blessed with our wonderful friend @nickidion1 who perfectly coordinated and executed our vision as all of our ideas were packed in plastic tubs and just a dream - her surprise tattoo station during our reception was a perfect representation of us.

A wedding day truly takes a village and we were so blessed with the best one of all. 🤍🤍🤍

There’s something so special about having all the people you love in one room 🤍

It’s not too often that I get to plan an event for myself, so getting to plan one for our little boy felt especially sweet.

I’m so incredibly grateful for my vendor friends who helped make our shower everything I dreamed it would be. Your talent and kindness means more to me than you’ll ever know! 🤍

The sweetest day celebrating our sweetest little boy 🧸🍯
