"Subaltern Temporalities" Kronoscope: Journal for the Study of Time @studyoftime Vol. 24 No. 02 @brillpublishing Guest Editor: Emily DiCarlo Contributors: Ameen Ahmed @ameenonscreen, Kush Badhwar, Estee Klar & Adam Wolfond @dis.assembly, Paula González León, Jasmine Liaw @jasmineliaw_, Isabella Martin @isabella.r.martin, Sue Scheibler, Jamie Stephenson, John Streamas, Mehrnaz Rohkbakhsh @mehrnaz.rohbakhsh Book Reviews by Raphaëlle Costa de Beauregard, Rosemary Huisman, Lance Strate "Time, as lived experience, emerges through the interplay of identity and power structures, where factors such as gender, class, race, neurodiversity, and sexuality shape distinct temporal sensibilities. This special issue of KronoScope, "Subaltern Temporalities" gives voice to the plurality of temporal experiences that resist dominant time structures while exploring strategies of reclamation. True to the inclusive and interdisciplinary spirit of KronoScope and the International Society for the Study of Time, the contributions span diverse professional and personal perspectives, featuring a selection of cross-disciplinary scholars at various career stages. Through critical essays, poetry, ethnographic research, and visual art, this issue examines the nuances, intersections, and complexities of the uneven cultural politics of time." - Excerpt from Introduction, Emily DiCarlo
