We had the honor of hosting @stukrieger here at Downtime TV studios!

We filmed some cool content (which we can’t wait for you to see), & hosted a LIVE screening of Zenon Girl of the 21st Century!

He was kind enough to not only sign our original copies of so many of his films, but he also donated to our @retrorevivalmuseum the official press kit that Disney Channel sent out to media outlets.

It also has several stills from “Z” that newspapers, etc could use with stories about the film!

Since many of you joined recently, I thought this would be a good opportunity to share a little more about the collection and the person behind it.

What started as a way to document my collection has become a place to share stories, history and the meaning behind the objects on my shelves.

My favourite item is probably my custom Diablo lore book.

It’s shiny and leatherbound, looks like it came from another age, and combines several things I love: lore, storytelling, collecting, craftsmanship and gaming.

More than any other item, it represents what this collection is really about: bringing the worlds that matter to me into the physical world.

Most people are surprised to learn that I also run a Diablo music YouTube channel called Music From Sanctuary.

⭐ Star Wars has been one of my longest-running collecting passions.

🎄Christmas is my favourite time of the year and I have a set of leatherbound books I only display during December.

📚 My collection is approaching critical mass, which means I can spend less time acquiring things and more time telling stories about them.

🃏 I recently fell down the rabbit hole of playing card history. It’s incredibly fascinating and somehow connects to almost every part of my collection.

Going forward, you can expect more storytelling, more history and more deep dives into the items that make up the collection through posts and reels.

In many ways, my collection is sectretly a gallery of props for storytelling, and storytelling is something I’m continuously practicing as a collector, content creator and public speaker.

The items in my collection all have one thing in common: they mean something to me.

Whether it’s Norwegian history, Star Wars, Diablo, Tolkien, music, films, playing cards or physical media, every item connects to a memory, an interest or a story that made me feel something.
I don’t collect categories. I collect things that are part of my lore.

Space is limited, which has made me a much more intentional collector. LP and Laserdisc sleeves help me store disks and cover art👍

I’m less interested in owning everything and more interested in finding pieces with meaning, history,

“LITTLEFOOT IS BORN” in the Animated Feature “THE LAND BEFORE TIME”. This was one of the first scenes that I animated on this movie. My crew was studying live action footage of Monitor Lizards, Elephants, Rhinos, Ostriches and a host of other animals to get a sense of realism in our animation of Dinosaurs. This production followed completion of our first film that we (Sullivan Bluth Studios) produced with Steven Spielberg. In the following months our first collaboration “AN AMERICAN TAIL” would hit the theaters and make Animation History. #littlefoot #thelandbeforetime #johnpomeroyanimation #sullivanbluthstudiosirelandltd #stevenspielberg
