Super blessed to be part of the @crossfit_elkgrove family ! PR’ed bench press 140lb; two event wins (out of 5) despite our team was 48 years older than the other team! (Age is just a number !!) We held on till the end ! Thanks @abellinder for the idea of switching to the Rx division and @michelle.wielan for being patience with my wall ball 🙄😵‍💫 . I am so proud of us!!!! Super fun for my first CrossFit competition. It was for real a True Challenge !

Out here celebrating in BIG ways 🫂🏝️

Rachel Dew, 3 time SoCal athlete representing Elk Grove Fieldhouse, continues to show up for herself after a long road post injury and her ongoing battle with MS.

⚡️She currently sits in 10th place in the Indy Female RX division with one more event to go.

Community athletes, go crush your last day out there and don’t forget to CELEBRATE!

Got them all done.
No where near perfect. Not sure how they’ll stack up.

But when it was time to go, I didn’t hold anything back.

That matters more than the leaderboard.
Huge thank you to @crossfit_elkgrove and @stullcandy for opening the doors!

Was fun popping in to @crossfit_elkgrove

Movement is a privilege.
Progress isn’t always loud.
And discipline will carry you further than motivation ever will.

Keep showing up. That’s the win. 👊

Here’s a little live action video I didn’t realize I posted too but hey it’s real life! I was able to drop in to @crossfit_elkgrove after a full day with homeschool & the kids activities!

Thank you @stullcandy for the love! ❤️ you’ve always been a great coach. 💪👍

No matter what movement is key! Doesn’t always look pretty but it gets done ☑️

Today’s focus: Gymnastics skill, upper body strength, and a spicy full-body finisher 💪
We drilled ring muscle-up technique, built pressing strength, then hit a grippy, high-intensity metcon with runs, toes-to-bar, dumbbell bench, and sandbag squats. Core, lungs, and shoulders were all on fire 🔥

Still can’t do a handstand. Still scared.
But I’m showing up, again and again — because I believe in the power of persistence.
One day, I’ll get there.
