Ken's FM is BACK ON THE AIR at 89.1 FM, but only for a limited time unless our fundraiser is successful. As you have likely seen in other posts, some of us from Ken's FM are raising money to purchase the station and allow it to continue bringing you independent radio, shows like this one, a venue for local bands, and more, rather than see if sold to corporate interests. If we do not raise the money, this may be one of the last Adam's Archive broadcasts, and the FM signal will soon go silent once again. Please consider donating at kensfm.com! You can stream the station and this show by looking up KNNZ on the Radio Garden app, through the stream button at kensfm.com, and via Shoutcast at http://108.59.11.81:8315/ Adam's Archive is now on Remnant Radio (http://listen.remnantradio.net/) as well! As always, the show runs from 7:00 to 9:00 PM US Central Time (00:00 - 02:00 GMT). If you can't catch the show tonight, it will be rebroadcast on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM Central (5:00 to 7:00 PM GMT, more convenient for some of our friends overseas). Tonight we have new music from a number of our friends, including Mick Harvey & Amanda Acevedo, NB Nakita, and locals Day of Bliss. We also have a theme tonight that we return to every so often, of curious covers. The artists performing cover songs include our friends Low, Reeves Gabrels, and Elizabeth Lopez-Jardine, and even my own band Venus In Furs. Many have a degree of goth and industrial themes with tracks from Amaranth & The Joy Thieves (as Thieve 6), Vaselyne, NØIR & Silver Walks, and classics from The Mission and Love & Rockets. There is plenty more to come as well. We'll help our friends Saffron Sprackling and Republica (Official) celebrate their debut album's 30th anniversary, and we'll hear tracks from AFI, All Fires, Black Lab, Belle & Sebastian, Edge Of Dawn, Pink Floyd, Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy, Mark Lanegan & Isobel Campbell, and more! Join us in the chat room at kensfm.com, and again, please consider donating to help save this station while you're there!
