POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I never shared this but last February, I moved out of my apartment and back into my Mom’s house. I needed to save as much money as possible to continue creating for LE. The reality was that I wouldn’t be able to afford  rent and still put all the dollars into the best quality resources for LE. I had just gotten a new manufacturer who produces clothes for Just Don, Cult Gia, and a ton of other incredible brands. This meant production prices would increase.
At the time, I knew it would be a sacrifice but didn’t know how emotionally and mentally challenging it would be. A little about me, I’M EXTREMELY independent. I love having nice things of my own. That being said, not having my own space or things sent me into a mini depression. I felt worthless, insecure, anti-social, angry, you name it. I didn’t want to go out because I didn’t want people asking me “where I lived”. I experienced extremely jealousy towards random people on IG, just because I saw their cute apartments and/or nice things. Not having everything I prided myself on having made the light in me go out. I was empty and dark. BUT THEN GOD. He showed up and reminded me of the light.
He told me he was teaching me about the things I valued, how I defined my worth and what sacrificing for the vision He gave me looked like. This taught me that WE ARE NOT OUR CIRCUMSTANCES. I was forced to look within. To look at the parts of life that matter more, like the love my friends and family have for me, redefining the love I had for myself, being grateful for having a roof over my head in general, being able to spend more time with loved ones, saving money for my DREAM, tithing, and so much more.
God reminded me that HE is the one who provides everything and will take it away with good reason.  I’m sharing this because if there is anyone who is currently feeling anything similar to what I felt, know that IT IS TEMPORARY. Be strong, be grateful for the things you have and value each day.
Thank you @stviie for helping me create these love cards for all LE customers.  I hope they serve as a simple reminder to TRUST YOUR PATH AND KEEP GOING.
With love,
xx
