A huge thank you to Ericka, Dalia, and Jackie for representing VIVID-O at @stxiff during the award gala for our Edinburg Film Friendly nomination for Color Rush!

Thank you to @interstellarhoney and @mandalynnmarie29 for being our incredible location scouts. Without both of you, we would not have been nominated for the Edinburg Film Friendly award. Your hard work and dedication made this possible.

Thank you, @findingdaliaem , for trusting us to collaborate with you and for allowing us to create not one, but two films together. It was such a special experience!

And a huge thank you to our lead actress in both films, @jaclynfb_ , for being amazing as always and for coming up with the idea of the crossover. Your creativity helped bring these two films together in such a fun way.

Thank you to the @cityofedinburg for allowing us to showcase this beautiful city through our film. We are incredibly grateful to all the locations that welcomed us and allowed us to bring our story to life: @gnarlynovelties.arcade , @spacemonkeyarcade , @playstreetmuseum , @dancentreofedinburg , Vivia Mini Market, and Edinburg Municipal Park.

“Being Mexican-American is tough. We got to be twice as perfect as anybody else. Our families have been here for centuries, and yet they treat us as if we just swam across the Rio Grande. We got to be more Mexican than the Mexicans, and more American than the Americans, both at the same time! It’s exhausting!”

🎬✨ Such an honor meeting @edward_olmos1947 at STXIFF. An absolute legend whose work and words have represented the complexities, pride, and experiences of Mexican-American culture for generations. Definitely a moment I’ll remember. ❤️
