🎨 A masterpiece in the making.

⚽ Three Vanguard teams, another weekend of soccer. Let’s make some art on the pitch.

Help us keep competitive soccer accessible and create more opportunities for our players. Every donation supports the boys, and Coach has made some questionable fundraising commitments: $5K for a Vanguard tattoo, $10K for a chest wax, $15K for a spray tan, and $20K for the R9 haircut.

Another exciting weekend of outdoor soccer for Team Efficient! ⚽️🔥

Our U13 Girls came away with a big win against Relentless in Schertz, putting together a strong team performance! Across our other age groups, our players continued to represent Efficient with determination, teamwork, and competitive spirit.

As the outdoor season continues, Team Efficient remains focused on building momentum, competing at a high level, and preparing for the challenges ahead.

Rise as One, Win as Many. 📈

PLEASE LIKE, SHARE, REPOST.

I have apparently decided my dignity is an acceptable fundraising expense. To be fair, you all suffer through my memes, it’s my turn now.

We’re raising money to help keep competitive soccer accessible for our Vanguard players, and I’m putting my own reputation on the line to make it happen.

💉 $5,000 → Vanguard tattoo
🪒 $10,000 → Chest wax
☀️ $15,000 → Spray tan
✂️ $20,000 → The R9 haircut (@suave_stylez said he’d do it)

And yes, I’ll film the whole thing for Instagram. Every questionable decision, every moment of regret, all of it. What Brazos Valley business wants to do the tattoo? Wax? Spray tan?

I just want to keep creating opportunities for these boys. If that means getting waxed, tanned, tattooed, and walking around looking like R9.

Help us get there. GoFundMe link in bio. Every single cent goes back into the program and to the boys in some way. I’m just a parent, volunteer coach trying to give back.

The @suave.barberstudio starting lineup from our Gray team yesterday.

Kyler takes @maishanyun Man of the Match after bagging a brace and keeping constant pressure on the opposition from the striker position.

Plenty of shoutouts to go around, too:

🧤 James with the penalty save.

🏃 Chris and Declan covering ground all over the pitch.

🔒 Diego keeping the right side locked down from right back.

Really a strong team effort from the boys with many standout players not even listed here.

While the result was grody, our effort was gnarly. That’s how you get a team performance worth rewinding.

I was born in 1985, I’m bad at this using slang from the 80s thing.

⚽️ IT’S GOING TO BE A RAD MATCHDAY WEEKEND

Lace up the boots, pop in the Miami Vice cassette, and get ready for another weekend of Vanguard soccer.

Three teams taking the pitch, chasing goals, making gnarly plays, and writing the next chapter. Let’s make it one worth rewinding. 😎

What do coaches and scouts notice after a mistake?

Not whether the mistake happened, but how quickly the player recovers.

In this month’s blog:

⚽ Why mistakes are inevitable in soccer
⚽ What coaches and scouts notice after an error
⚽ How players can reset in high-pressure moments

Mistakes happen. The response is what matters next.

💛💙 **BUSY WEEKEND ACROSS HOUSTON! ⚽🔥**

Our Villarreal Houston teams are back in action this Saturday, competing across **EDPL, H-Town Soccer League, and YDSL!**

Different teams, different fields, but ONE Villarreal family! 💪

👏 **Here's our challenge to our parents:** Watch your child play, then stick around and support another Villarreal team!

Cheer for our players, encourage our young athletes, and help us build a stronger club community.

**One Club. One Family. One Villarreal!** 💛💙

Preparation starts on the training ground. Stone Oak training is in full swing! ⚽️

As the outdoor fall season enters its final stretch, our teams continue to raise the standard with focused training, technical development, and competitive sessions.

With tournament season approaching, the focus remains on preparation, consistency, and continued growth.

The work doesn’t stop! 📈

Parents—how you respond to challenging moments shapes how your player learns to handle adversity 👇

⚽ Model emotional control.
Your reactions teach them how to handle adversity.

⚽ Celebrate brave plays.
Praise their confidence to try difficult things, even when they fail.

⚽ Keep perspective during tough games.
Help them separate their performance from their self-worth.

That’s how resilience is built over time.
