Only half a day filmed because I spent the other half looking for my phone 🤦‍♀️ (turns out I’d left it in the café at lunchtime… classic me).

But what a day @thegoodclothesshow 💫 Tickets are still available for tomorrow! Highly recommend going!

The fabulous @linen_thief absolutely smashed it on stage during her live podcast …she spoke so beautifully about her incredible creations and had me snorting laughing!

The whole show was a dream: so many inspiring collections, sustainable and vintage brands, and so many familiar faces! It was so lovely bumping into so many of you I’ve connected with on here ….meeting IRL was just the best. 🫶

And of course… I couldn’t resist a little vintage shopping. Fell head over heels for this 60s wool cape — full Traitors vibes and I’m obsessed. Be prepared to see it a lot.

We always have so much going on at Olinda! From growing organic food to share, pickling, preserving; foraging, developing our mushroom forest; creating stuff out of natural materials- you name it we have been doing it!

You will ALWAYS get a very warm welcome here, whether you come on your own or as part of a group, everyone is accepted and welcomed.

This year we have some very exciting projects lined up including:

👉🏻Growing more food than ever at our National Trust site in Dunham Massey with @ntnltrust

👉🏻Developing our mushroom growing forest and event schedule with @woodhousesmushrooms

👉🏻Introducing Bee Hives with @sunnybrowhoney

👉🏻Introducing a second session led by @my.love.of.gardening

👉🏻continuing our partnership on Altrincham Community Garden with @bouncebackfood and @altymarket

👉🏻Growing our Olinda Seed Library 📚

👉🏻Going to Tuscany on an Olinda volunteer project 🤸🏼‍♀️🇮🇹

👉🏻Expanding our corporate volunteering partnerships with companies like @royallondonmutual @bunzlplc and @equilibrium.fp

👉🏻Having a wonderful FUN time with all our incredible volunteers!

Great morning - AS ever!

Excited for the growing season next year, we really want to focus on abundance of food and are busy mulching the beds with anything we can find! 🍁🍂

New fire pit ready for our Christmas gathering on the 11th and lots of weeding, bed prepping in the sunshine… oh and a new tire 🛞 getting ready to start its new life we think perhaps as a pond.. we will see … 😉

No session next week. Back again for our Christmas ‘party’ in the mushroom forest on 11th 🪩✌🏻
