🌧️ A rainy, windy day in Leeds, but our little theatre date was SO worth it 🥹❤️🎭

Yesterday, Melody and I headed to @carriageworkstheatre to watch The Littlest Yak, and we had such a lovely time

The beautiful puppets, catchy songs and heart-warming story made it such a lovely family experience. But my favourite part? Watching Melody laugh and seeing how much he enjoyed the show. 🥰

A little mum & son food date 🥹❤️

We were invited down to @themermaidresturant and decided to make it a little date for just the two of us. 🧜🏽‍♀️✨

I went for the chicken burger, which was honestly so satisfying, while Melody went for the sausage & chips from the kids’ menu.
His meal came with a drink and dessert, which I thought was such a nice touch for the little ones. 🥰

And obviously, Melody went straight for the bubble gum ice cream 😂🍦💙 He was very happy with that choice

I always love these little food outings with him because it’s not just about the food, it’s the time together, trying somewhere new and hearing his very honest opinions along the way. 😂❤️

We had such a lovely time at The Mermaid Restaurant and would definitely go back for another mum & son food date. 🥰

I was working over the weekend while Melody stayed at my friend’s house. 🥹

He went to the shop with my friend’s husband and asked if he could get me a birthday card because my birthday was coming up. 🥺🤎

Then he wrote this inside… and honestly, my heart. 😭

“2 reasons I love you:

1. Your funny
2. You help me a lot.” 🥹❤️

It’s the little things that mean the most. My sweet boy. @style_withmelody 🤎

And a special thank you our big uncle @certified_047 and his lovely wife @certified_juliet07 for indulging him and taking him to the shop to get it for me. 🥹❤️ It may seem like such a small thing, but it meant so much to me.

I’m keeping this forever. 🥹🫶🏽
