Do you feel like your photography isn’t as incredible as it used to be?✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Trust me, I get it. We are artists in our own ways. There is a beautiful practice that goes into any type of photography. Whether you shoot and develop your own film or work a 100% in digital. We all have what fires you our soul and you have to keep reminding yourself of those specific things.🌞 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For me, I LOVE telling a story. So if a bride decides to get ready in her family home. I make sure elements of her childhood are shown in every image. ☀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Reach out to a friend to review your work and get their critique. Don’t stop shooting because you don’t think it’s good. Do it anyway and I know something incredible will come out of it. 💕 . We are all on a continuous journey of accepting the present instead of worrying about the future. Did I book enough clients? Why did I not get published? Am I able to go full time? ✨ ↟ I’m sure these are questions that run through your head everyday as a photographer. I know this is what I hear in my internal dialogue with myself every single day. I worry that my work isn’t good enough, perhaps my editing is not “moody” to fit into the current fad that’s moving through wedding photography. Whatever worry that exists about photography over all, I have every single one. The common denominator in all of this is comparison. Comparison is evil and it will destroy you. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! I promise sis, I empathize with you 100% and I am here to help! Maybe your first step is finding the small ways photography brings you joy. Write those things down and re-read them everyday. Begin to realize that just because it “appears” that you aren’t where you thought you would be, YOU ARE KILLING IT! I see your effort, your talent and it will only go up from here. I promise you.✨ ↟ How can you take time to enjoy the present state of your business?✨ .
