It took 9 weeks of waiting, hoping, laboring, and patience to look almost the same and it’s an amazing feeling. We are so exited to open our doors back up at 9am tomorrow! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our families, friends, team members, and clients! It means the world to us! Swipe for some before pics…see ya at 9am!!! ❤️

After 3 weeks of investigations, insurance adjuster visits and approvals, we finally got the green light to start mitigation in the salon. They are going to arrive Monday to prep and cover everything and then spend the week removing the flooring, the ceiling, etc…This will be followed by the renovation.

At this point we are anticipating being able to re-open the first week of May pending any delays.

We have felt incredibly blessed to be a part of not only our community of Jenkintown, but the salon industry as a whole. We have had an overwhelming amount of well wishes, thoughts, prayers and overall support and we can’t thank you enough for that.

We’ve had many people asking how they can support our staff while we’re out of work.

A few of the girls have decided to host a bake sale this Sunday, March 22, right in front of the salon to help raise money during this hard time.

We’ll be starting at 10AM and will be there until we sell out! All baked goods will be priced, but you’re always welcome to donate whatever you feel called to give.

We can’t wait to see you all, and hope you look forward to seeing us too🍪🤍

Earlier this morning, the apartment above the salon caught fire. The salon endured smoke and water damage. I never thought I’d imagine getting that wake up call but this is happening. We will be closed for at least this week and maybe beyond as we work to make sure the building is safe and secure. We will need to rebuild part of the salon. Our team will be reaching out to reschedule all clients for this week and we have to take this one step at a time. If you have any direct questions or concerns feel free to email jason@davidarnoldhairsalon.com and I will be happy to address everyone individually. Again, I am sorry that this happened but like the lockdown we will be back and be stronger. Please keep an eye out for updates as we get them.
