The mission: Take a dark brown beauty to a dimensional gold-beige blonde while preserving the integrity of her curls. 💛

Every major transformation starts with a plan, patience, and trusting the process. 👩🏽‍🎨✨

✨💈 BLONDE TRANSFORMATION SERIES: PART 2 💈✨

Now the fun begins! 💛

After prepping her hair, it was time to start the blonding process. I began applying lightener about an inch away from the scalp and worked through the mids and ends first. The heat from the scalp causes the roots to lighten faster, so this helps me work toward a more even result.

One thing I learned during this service is that saturation is EVERYTHING. 👏🏽 That’s where my color board came in handy. It helped me fully saturate each section and make sure the lightener was evenly distributed from front to back.

As I worked through the application, you can already start to see the first sections beginning to lift. 👀✨

So far, so good… but we’re still a long way from the final result. Stay tuned because things are about to get real blonde real quick. 🔥

Now it’s time for the roots.

I’m, working my way from the nape of her neck toward the front hairline. Since lightener was applied in the back first, you can already see those sections reaching the desired level while the front still has some catching up to do. 👀

One thing I love about color is watching the transformation happen in real time and being able to educate my clients throughout the process so they understand what they’re seeing and why every section may not look the same at the same time.

Trust the process. 💛✨

✨💈BLONDE TRANSFORMATION SERIES: PART 4💈✨

We’re officially at the “ramen noodle” stage as my client called it 😂🍜

Now it’s time to tone and refine all that beautiful lift. For this step, I used custom #WellaShinefinity formulas one for her midshaft to ends and another for her root melt to help create a more seamless, blonde from her roots to ends. ✨💛

This is where the transformation really starts to come together and all the hard work pays off. 👏🏽

Stay tuned for the BIG REVEAL in the final part! 👀🔥
