My son and I got a lot of work done on the crashed B5 S4. We will do one last check for good parts to pull tomorrow then Friday the shell will be off to the crusher.

Today we cut the second roof off a B5 this summer. Brain flew into DIA this morning and rented a minivan to haul the slick top home. It actually fit in there nicely! He picked up a euro style hatch while he was here. I’ve been pulling parts from this car for a while now but this week Julian helped me finish up what was left. One more car leaving to be crushed next week.

It’s been a busy couple days. Two nights ago I got this half parted S6 delivered and sent a shell to the scrap yard. Today Julian and I went to Parker to buy my Santorin back. She has bad turbos and has been sitting a while but still made the hour and 15 minute drive home.

I’m finally spending some time on my car before our meet this Sunday. I had a code for a bad gas pedal so I decided to handle a few things while I was at it. I replaced the stock steering wheel with a B6 S4 wheel. Thanks to Clayton for the airbag work so it works as it should. I also got these nice black seats from a buddy almost a year ago. They are finally being put to use. Also thanks to Julian for helping me out during the process.

We cut the roof off a B5 today for a slick top wide body project. I got pretty far behind on jobs at the house. I’m happy to finally get this done.
