Happy Birthday to the BEST DAD EVERRRR‼️ The King of our family, forever grateful and thankful to God for blessing us with a father like you. God’s hands was always upon you since you were young. Covering you every step of the way because of the prayers of your grandparents, parents, aunties, and uncles. Regardless of the challenges, obstacles or circumstances you faced in life that could have kept you down, you overcame it all and remained faithful and humble through it all. Because of your unwavering faith, hard work, willingness to serve, dedication, faithfulness, humility, compassion, and leadership we are who we are today. Blessed to have you as a spiritual father as well, from introducing us to Christ when we were young to continuously teaching us The Word of God and always pointing our family to draw closer to God everyday, to seek God first no matter what. Thank you for the endless prayers over our lives, thank you for being our provider and protector, thank you for your words of wisdom and encouragements, thank you for your love always, thank you for your gift of music that you willingly use to build God’s Kingdom and bless others, thank you for your heart of giving, thank you for your boldness of standing up for the truth and not going along with what the world does, says or thinks. Thank you for your obedience and commitment in answering the call of God. We love you always and forever dad, words are still not enough to explain how much you mean to us. But we will continue to show you, we celebrate you not just today but everyday. Thank you Lord for adding another year into my dad’s life, he couldn’t have made it this far without you. Cheers to many more wonderful years, God Bless you abundantly. Cherishing every moment with you dad🥹🙏🏼♥️

July was an incredible month for coalition building and celebration! ✨ We had the privilege of participating in several meaningful events this month, here’s a look at some of the highlights from this past month! 🗓️

We had the honor of attending EPIC’s PILOT dinner. 🍽️ Congratulations to the 2026 PILOT Cohort! Proud and grateful for all the work EPIC has put into advancing the next generation of PI leaders. 🌟

Happily attended APICA’s 2026 Fellows Meet and Greet at the Capitol Annex Swing Space. 🤝 Always a pleasure reconnecting with our rising API Staff, and we look forward to years of friendship!

We finished the month with a bang, attending 2 events in one day! In Sacramento, our intern alumni had the opportunity to meet Mayor Kevin McCarty and Vice Mayor Karina Talamantes volunteering for the Annual Backpack Giveaway in Natomas. Always happy to show up for our Sacramento community! 📍

Meanwhile in San Francisco, Mayor Daniel Lurie and the National Samoan Chiefs Council hosted an official Samoan Heritage Week celebration and flag-raising ceremony at San Francisco City Hall. It was great meeting the Sua Sisters and Amaya Masoli (AKA “Young Moana” and PICP student)! 🌊 A huge thank you to the NSCC and PICP! Your work is an inspiration to all, and we thank you for uplifting our PI communities! 🙌

My Nieceys Janell, Rachelle, & Big Sis Janet had the honor of singing the Amerika Samoa’s Anthem at the event in San Francisco City Hall to officially mark Samoan Heritage Week for our Samoan Community. Beautifully Sung! Hats off to the dedicated representatives for their unwavering work to make this possible for our people! Malo Soifua!
