That failure eventually led him to build one of the most iconic brands on Earth. After losing his son Dino, Enzo rarely watched his own cars race in person—it became too emotional. His dark sunglasses became part of his identity, hiding the weight he carried behind the legend. And of course, the iconic prancing horse logo has its own story. It came from WWI fighter pilot Francesco Baracca, who painted the horse on his airplane. Baracca’s mother told Enzo to put it on his cars for good luck—and the rest is history.
