Some rave nights start at a venue. This one started by following my friends into the dark with absolutely no idea what was waiting ahead. 🌲🖤

A few minutes later, the trees started glowing, the bass got louder, and suddenly we were standing in the middle of a full forest rave surrounded by psychedelic visuals, lights, music, and a crowd completely immersed in the experience.

That contrast is what made this one so memorable for me. One second you’re walking through a dark path with your phone flashlight on, and the next you’re stepping into this colourful little world hidden inside the forest.

I love when Montréal’s rave scene goes beyond the usual club or warehouse setup and turns unexpected spaces into something completely different for one night. It makes the whole experience feel like an adventure before you even reach the dance floor.

The Wizards vs Goblins concept made it even more immersive, with different sounds and energies throughout the night and a setting that genuinely felt like its own little universe.

These are the kinds of Montréal rave moments I love documenting the most — creative, unexpected, a little surreal, and impossible to fully understand until you’re actually there. 🌲🔊✨

This one felt less like a night out and more like stepping into a completely different little world. 🌲🧙‍♂️✨

The whole forest was transformed with psychedelic decor, colourful lights, fantasy-inspired details, and music coming from different corners of the space. The Wizards vs Goblins theme made it feel playful and immersive, while the lineup moved through everything from techno and hard groove to psytrance, jungle, DnB.

I really love when a rave has a concept beyond just the music — something that gives the night its own identity and makes you remember the atmosphere just as much as the sets.

Montréal’s underground scene keeps finding new ways to surprise me. 🖤

There’s something so fun about nights that feel like a complete side quest. 🌲🖤

You follow your friends, walk a little deeper into the forest, start hearing the bass in the distance… and suddenly you’re surrounded by lights, ravers, DJs, decorations, and a full underground party in the middle of Montréal.

This was part of the Wizards vs Goblins forest rave with techno, hard groove, psytrance, jungle, DnB and a whole fantasy-inspired setup that made the night feel completely different from a typical club rave.

These are the kinds of events that make me love documenting Montréal’s underground scene. You never really know where the night is going to take you. 😭✨

When you think the Montréal forest rave is about to get shut down… and then it turns out to be a false alarm 😭🚨🌲

The police pulled up for a moment, everyone started wondering what was happening, and then… they left. The rave continued like nothing happened. 😂

Definitely one of the more unexpected moments from this Wizards vs Goblins forest rave, but somehow it just added another chapter to the night.

That’s the thing about Montréal’s underground scene — sometimes the location, the crowd, the music, and the random side quests make the night just as memorable as the sets themselves. 🖤

A rave in the middle of a Montréal forest? Say less. 🌲🔊🖤

This one felt completely different from a typical rave night. The whole event was built around a Wizards vs Goblins theme, with psychedelic visuals, forest decorations, multiple sounds, and a crowd that fully leaned into the concept.

The music moved across techno, hard groove, psytrance, jungle, DnB, and more, so every part of the night had a different energy. It really felt like wandering through different little rave worlds inside the same forest.

What I love about Montréal’s underground scene is exactly this kind of creativity — people taking unconventional spaces, building a whole concept around them, and turning them into something memorable for one night.

An underground gathering hosted by SubReel Sonics, Wizard Tribe and Techno Crudo.

A Journey Beyond the Veil

Deep within the forgotten woods, where the veil between worlds grows thin, an ancient power has awakened.

For centuries, the Wizards have guarded the Sacred Realm a place of arcane rhythms, hypnotic spells, and forbidden frequencies. But beneath the earth, deep inside the roots of the forest, something darker has been stirring...

The Goblins have emerged from their caves.

Now, two worlds collide.

👿 THE GOBLIN CAVE
Descend beneath the earth into a wild underground kingdom of Jungle • Drum & Bass • Tekno • Tribe • Gabber • Hardcore, where chaos reigns and the creatures of the night come alive.

But this is not a battle of good versus evil.

It is a journey through sound, magic, darkness and light where every beat brings you deeper into the unknown.

🌲 Two stages. Two realms. One enchanted night.

Choose your side.

Will you wield the magic of the Wizards... or descend into the Goblin Cave?

The portal awaits.
