Been a year today since we said goodbye to Koko. 💔 He was definitely that one in a million soul dog. Forever grateful that he found us to make sure his last years were the best. Miss you, my big boy! ❤️✨

One year ago to the day.
Palisades Fire.
Eaton Fire.
-
Lives lost.
Homes lost. Communities & towns gone.
So many people affected.
-
What did we learn from this and what can we do in the future?
Is this preventable?
Thinking about so many people I know that were affected.
Check out today’s rally in the Palisades.
They Let Us Burn.
-
I really hope we can learn and make the needed improvements to help ensure these catastrophic events don’t happen in the future.

Introducing our smallest rescue to date: Mochi. 😁 He's still getting used to his new home, but he has definitely had the easiest transition out of all our dogs. I'm sure he knows he scored on his forever home! 😆 Much like our beloved Koko, his original name was also Gordo and he came from a backyard breeder that didn't treat them great. 💔 If you're in the market for a new dog, there are way too many out there in need of adoption or fostering from wonderful rescues doing great work. 🙏🏻 Also Happy Belated #nationaldogday🐶 !

We had to say goodbye to our sweet dog Koko this weekend. 💔 He got sick and found out he had advanced lymphoma. 😭 If you had the pleasure of meeting this lovable handsome hippo, you know how incredible he was! A true once in a lifetime dog. It's been our life's work to rescue dogs in need and Koko was no exception. We gave him a world of adventure, treats, love, & family. ✨ Miss you, big boy! 😘
