What an absolutely epic way to spend the first half of April: a group of 13 friends celebrating the birth of @kassiasurf, @grossrider & Jandres on our own private little island in the middle of the Mentawais. We boated to surf breaks every day in search of the best waves, surfed for hours, and pounded one too many cooler fulls of Pocari Sweats & beng bengs. We were even fortunate enough to spend a few days with Mentawaian shamans, the Sikerei tribe, who traveled for 3 straight days from Siberut to bless a new house on the @botikresort property. Nick taught the shamans a lesson on DJing, and Sage learned how to say “coco” 🥥 and terima kasih “kaka”. A highlight was when the shamans joined for a sound bath with Kassia after I taught a little yoga class to our crew. Masura Bataga to new & old friends & the Botik crew. Now on to our next stop @htsresort 🏝️

As they say an ending is a beginning 🪬

Cycling through all the photos of this past year had me feeling so very grateful to live a life connecting with community, collaborating with friends, sharing and teaching what I love with so many sweet souls world wide.

This year has yet again stretched me and taught me so much, expanded my heart and mind more fully, invited me to be more resourceful, humbled me and encouraged me to continue to follow my heart. Because in this life we never really know where we're going all we can do is look back and see where we have been. In that reflection is an opportunity to learn from where we have been and integrate those lessons for a more balanced and radical tomorrow 🫶🏽

Gratitude is key

I am so very grateful for all the epic waves shared with new friends and old friends co- creating retreats world wide

The continued expansion of our @salty__sensations community.

The opportunity to create epic wetsuits and surf gear for our growing community and the team who supports this

The @secularsabbath crew and all the epic experiences into the sunrise we have shared especially our most recent adventure to #antartica 🐋

So thankful for my family, friends and each and every one of you 🌞

Sending all the love and blessings for an healthy and inspired new year. Praying for peace in the mind and hearts of humankind so we may have peace on this beautiful planet earth
