To the girl who has a Pinterest board full of Stone Haven weddings…

I get it.

You’ve imagined the mountain views. The glass reception. The dress. The flowers. The moment you get to marry your best friend.

The kind of photos your future grandkids will look at and say, “Wait… that was YOUR wedding?”

Stone Haven is for the couples who believe happily ever after should be just as breathtaking as the view.

And if you’re saving photos like these, I already know the vision. I can’t wait to bring it to life on your wedding day.

My Northern Michigan season is hitting all at once now and it’s surreal watching months of planning suddenly turn back into real people, real moments, and the kind of chaos I deeply love as a photographer. As much as I love to recharge in the winter, I’ve missed this so much. ✨

This is what happens when elegance meets a little creative freedom.

Soft light washing over every detail.
Florals that felt wild in the most intentional way.
Tailored black and white styling against a view that didn’t even feel real.
Every frame felt like a page pulled from an editorial spread.

Styled editorials like this are such a reminder that wedding imagery can be both timeless and creatively bold. They create space for inspiration, artistry, and details that couples may have never even imagined for their own day. And honestly? They’re fun. The kind of creative energy that leaves you inspired long after the day is over. Because at the heart of it all, beautiful imagery should make you feel something — not just now, but years from now when these moments become part of your story and legacy.

The dreamiest kind of creative escape.

Lillian and David at Stone Haven felt like stepping into another world entirely. The views over the mountains, the glass conservatory glowing at sunset, the couture textures, the movement, the drama… every part of this editorial felt cinematic in the best way.

And then came the dress change.

The feathered hat. The sculptural mini dress. The lace gloves. It felt like old Hollywood glamour mixed with modern bridal fashion and I genuinely could not stop shooting 🤍☁️

This is why I’ll never get over destination weddings and editorials. Beautiful places, insane fashion, couples willing to trust the vision… it honestly feels like creating scenes from a movie in real time.

Stone Haven absolutely showed off for this one.
