Quedan pocos días para visitar 𝘌𝘯 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘰 𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘨𝘰 de @ponib0y y @auguriozombies organizado por @sucesiva_ en el espacio de @cromatica.cdmx. La muestra reúne piezas plásticas y audiovisuales que exponen formas alternativas de observar y conceptualizar el arte contemporáneo. Este sábado, por la clausura, habrá visitas guiadas y un torneo de resortera libre a las 7pm.

Last days to visit 𝘌𝘯 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘰 𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘨𝘰 by Fernando Gress Muñoz y Augusto Sonrics, organized by Sucesiva at Cromática. The exhibition brings together plastic and audiovisual pieces that expose alternative ways of observing and conceptualizing contemporary art. This Saturday, for the closing, there will be guided tours and a free slingshot tournament at 7pm.

Les recomendamos visitar 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘥𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 del artista Joel Castro Ramos (México, 1985) radicado en Suiza, una colaboración entre Sucesiva y artwks.co que invita a descubrir, en la confusión de lo visible, otras formas de ver. En palabras de la curadora, Karol Wolley Reyes, “en ese vaivén entre la realidad, el original, la ficción y la copia, la exposición exige un esfuerzo de decodificación: es un trampantojo plástico”. Termina el 15 de mayo.

We recommend visiting 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘥𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 by Swiss-based artist @jofff_a (Mexico, 1985), a collaboration between @sucesiva_ and @artwks_co that invites viewers to discover new ways of seeing within the confusion of the visible. In the words of curator @karoolwrrr, “in that back-and-forth between reality, the original, fiction, and the copy, the exhibition demands an effort of decoding: it’s a visual trompe-l’oeil.” The show runs through May 15.

Algunos dibujos de la serie "𝓘𝓶𝓹𝓵𝓸𝓼𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓮𝓼", en los que usé algunas premisas de física cuántica para crear un lenguaje pictórico ツ

* Las imágenes 6 a la 8 fueron generadas con Stable Diffusion. Utilicé como prompts las mismas premisas cuánticas de los dibujos y salieron varias similitudes geométricas.

Les dejo un fragmento del texto:

"What Penrose and Hameroff basically propose is to study understanding as a feature of consciousness that can be examined through cyto-skeletons found inside neurons called microtubules, adopting a quantum approach to the phenomenon instead of thinking of it as a parallelism with computation or something that emerges between the interaction of neurons through synapses.

I wonder then, can a guided consciousness, through an
induced flow state, translate Platonic mathematical entities? What would a topography of the mind look like? Without the influence of a computer in the process of experimentation."
