OUR DEBUT EP "...AND HOW DO WE RESOLVE THIS TIME..." IS UP ON ALL PLATFORMS‼️ THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT‼️

On October 16, 2025, Research Triangle was officially formed as a band. What once was originally intended as a band to take solo songs from a pre-existing side project live became a musical kinship. We started playing covers of our favorite songs from artists like Blink-182, Fugazi, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, and more before we began to whip up two easy original songs for our first live performance, UNCW's Battle of the Bands.

After playing many shows following that performance, "...and how do we resolve this time..." was our first attempt at picking out a collection of songs we wrote/played live before putting them onto a bigger body of work. A lot of the songs were written about events in our lives that happened to us years before we formed the band (some even being fully written before our formation), and it only took our teamwork as musicians to put these songs together. We hope these songs emotionally resonate with you as it has us.
