AUSTRALIAN SAMBA RETREAT 2026 - OUR HEARTS ARE FULL!

We don’t quite know how to begin to process everything that has come from the extraordinary week we’ve just shared together. Our hearts are so full, and we’re still trying to find the words.

After a year of dreaming, planning and pouring so much love and energy into this event, Australian Samba Retreat 2026 has come to a close. What an incredible eight days we shared.

We’ve long believed in the power of samba to connect, to heal, to transform, and to bring us home to ourselves. But witnessing that unfold so beautifully, in so many different ways, has been really profound.

To our extraordinary artists and facilitators. We couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect group of humans to share this experience with. You are all giants, and it is so humbling that each of you said YES to our invitation to come to Australia and share your art, knowledge, culture and energy with us. The generosity, care, passion and humanity you brought into every encounter was extraordinary. You challenged us, nurtured us, made us laugh, moved us to tears and reminded us why we love samba and Afro Brazilian culture so deeply. What a privilege it has been to learn from you, dance with you and share this time together. Thank you for walking with us. ❤️

To our beautiful Retreat participants. You are the core of this event. You arrived with open minds, open hearts and a willingness to explore, connect and be challenged. Watching the friendships, personal discoveries, breakthroughs and moments of pure joy unfold has been one of the greatest gifts of this whole experience. Thank you for showing up so wholeheartedly and for the beautiful energy you gave to one another.

And to everyone who joined us and performed at Festa do Samba - WHAT A NIGHT! We had 200 souls coming together to celebrate Brazilian culture, music, dance and community. The energy in that room was fire!
