☀️🏔️ Chamonix Part II 🏔️☀️ Just over week ago we wrapped up a solid week of nature adventures, nourishing cuisine, steady, strong and supportive yoga daily to awaken and unwind. A blended group of familiar and new faces, and a schedule that brought us closer to ourselves and into greater expressions within safe company. Surely, that's what makes for a life affirming experience. Cacao & Drum Ceremony, a local meal out, and a truly magical Spa Day @qcterme that deserves its own post. Whether we know it or not, just being ourselves fully around others unlocks the potential for the safety to try something new or daring, and to be inspired by the potential being offered. Thank you again for being such a perfect group. You're personalities and presence created something truly unique for us all to remember. Until next time! Chamonix Part I ☀️⛰️🌼 Truly beautiful connections made, and majestic mountain landscapes witnessed and traversed... Wow. 🪷 Yoga as our daily foundation, sprinkled with a gentle journey through the chakras - energetic aspects of our being - throughout, and introduced the depth and magic of the #dharmayogawheel We prepared the body, heart, and mind for the soul nourishment that came from... 🍓 Beautifully fresh and creatively crafted meals shared together, infused with the delectable and devotional energy of our chef @angelique_peretto 🌲 Breath-giving, enlivening, mountain hiking excursions 3x with enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides @samlovesmountains , educating us on this once entirely glacial region, and significant climate change melting away the remaining ice rapidly. ⛰️ Meditations on the mountainous terrain, the great expanse of this great Earth Mother. L'aiguille du midi and the Mont Blanc massif range cascading all around us from above. & 😎 Cool connections that unfold when a selection of unique individuals say 'yes' to unwinding and opening to possibility and potential. SOIL, STONE & SOURDOUGH 2024 🌾 • Earlier this week I attended the amazing @cotswoldflour Soil, Stone and Sourdough event at @realfarmed in the beautiful village of Shipton-Under-Wychwood in the Cotswolds 😍 As well as bringing the baking community together, this event is all about learning how Regenerative Farming and the positive effects it has on our planet 🌍 • We started off our day with a baking seminar from the amazing @elaine_foodbod where she shared her baking knowledge alongside talks from @northernpastaco and @hobbshousebakery which were very interesting and informative 😊 • Next came a walk around the @realfarmed farming land where were given a real insight in the regenerative farming techniques and the reasoning behind it 🌾 Again, super interesting to hear and see the effects of this 👍🏼 • The final section was a tour around the @cotswoldflour mill by the legendary @bertiematthewscf 👊🏼 Bertie's knowledge and passion always blows me away every time I meet him and yet again he gave us an amazing tour! If you are ever in the area and get the chance to do this I can't recommend it highly enough ☺️ • A huge thank you to everyone involved for making this such an amazing event! Such an interesting day with @cotswoldflour at their Soil, Stone & Sourdough event. We started the day with Ian Wilkinson from @realfarmed learning about Regenerative Agriculture, soil health and food systems to nourish people and regenerate the planet. . Next we boarded a lovely old double decker bus and took a trip to @cotswoldflour mill which is over 100 years old. We had a tour with Bertie Matthews, 8th generation flour miller, and saw every process along the way from grain to flour. They have a lovely miller called Michelle, one of the few women millers in the country…it takes 7-10yrs to become a miller!!! . After the tour it was back to @realfarmed for the most delicious lunch…venison sausage roll, carved ham, pork pie, pickled onions and salads made with greens from the farm along with some fantastic breads. . We then heards talks from @cotswoldflour brand ambassador @elaine_foodbod Henry Herbert from @hobbshousebakery and Imogen from @northernpastaco Really fascinating discussions.
