My dad’s golden hair swung east to west as he played The Clash’s “London Calling” on his iPhone when we landed in Heathrow to open my first international branch of my T-shirt shop on London’s Carnaby Street.

Bringing my parents for their first time was a proud moment as we collectively unwrapped new experiences. It was surreal. Maybe the most fulfilling chapter of my business adventures.

My mom and I stayed up late walking miles for her to maybe meet The Queen and we and got trapped in an elevator filled with pee at an AirBnB we rented. We cried then laughed then cried then laughed then almost peed our pants from laughing.

While we popped-up there for four years, it felt like a lifetime. As a team, we carved out a spot, built a community, gained friends turned family, and bottled what felt like lightning. <3
