A beautiful wedding gallery doesn’t have to choose between intentional portraits and honest, unscripted moments. The belly laughs, the teary eyes, the hugs you didn’t see happening. But also the photo of everyone looking at the camera. The one with your parents. Your grandparents. Your closest friends. The beautifully composed portrait of the two of you that you’ll probably frame in your home. There is just as much value in the photographs we intentionally create as there is in the moments that unfold naturally. I don’t believe a wedding gallery has to choose between feeling natural and feeling intentional. Some moments deserve to unfold exactly as they are, while others deserve a little direction. Because years from now, you won’t care whether a photo was technically “posed” or “candid.” You’ll care about who was there, how it felt, and that you have the photograph to remember it.

Designer Chelsea Gaytan of Black Tie Optional and Ashley Phillips of Amour de Sucre Bakery brought this vision to life in The Global Ambassador’s garden where the verdant setting, with its filtered light and winding paths, evokes a luxe Italian garden. A dove blue accent is woven through the warm neutral palette, lending an airy freshness to the aesthetic. “The dove blue evolved into a true anchor for the design, grounding the palette in a cool, refined richness,” says Gaytan. The florals echo this sensibility with hellebore, delphinium, sweet pea, ranunculus and scabiosa gathered in a loose, organic fashion along the table. “The florals were designed to feel lush and organic, with a softly undone quality as though they had been gathered fresh from an overgrown European garden,” says Gaytan.
