I was sick for a week before the event and prayed for quick healing. Still getting some of my energy back but sooo glad that God was in control to allow me to recover and be able to still host this event. The Women Empowerment Team was a thought that we made
a reality in 2022 amongst me, @sonya_nicolle and @sugabred after my domestic violence incident. It's a blessing that my best friend since freshman year in college @seythemccoy and @quickresponsedefense came to provide the instruction. So many women who may not have even used a firearm were able to learn safety, proper use, and gain their NRA certification to get their conceal carry license. We had food, merchandise, gift bags, laughs and cries. I am glad I was able to provide my testimony and be healed enough to say I am a proud survivor. I hope you each use your lessons to encourage yourself and others. I can't wait to follow up with you ladies and we have range days together. Thank you Chelsea and Andrew and @superiorpawnngun for allowing us to present there.

More pictures to follow this week and thank you ladies for your support!
