My husband wrote the most beautiful vows at our wedding. I simply had to include a few lines from it.

Our wedding was tucked away in a vineyard, on a beautiful summer day. Drinks were passed, laughter was shared, and the magic was truly everywhere. I couldn’t have asked for a better day🤍 As many of our friends came to tell us: it felt like watching Arwen and Aragorn get married ✨

Easter Sunday🌷

Steve and I hosted a very intimate celebration at home with mom, our youngest daughter Rachel and her fiancé John-Carlo ✨

The Spring Thyme Diaries : April 🌿

This month was incredibly busy! But so many memories made. Easter, followed by a big work deal that I was super proud of, seeing my sister after months apart and getting to celebrate her and her fiancé, as well as being brides together🥹🦢 In late april, we had my dream whimsical/forest/moss engagement shoot ( by some miracle, that morning was sunny and warm) and also got to spend some quality time with each other. Made a froggy cake that just so happens to match my fairy mug perfectly 🧚 Perfected my wedding trial manicure, and finally finding my perfect wedding band 🌿🌸🧚🦢

A little December recap💫🎄

Our first Christmas in this beautiful house…

We moved in just 4 months ago from our 100+ yr old Edwardian townhome in Roncesvalles to this grand late 1980’s house. It was lovingly designed by an architect for the previous owners and as soon as I walked in to tour the house, I knew it was meant for us…And I immediately knew where our Christmas tree would go 🤗

We wanted our home to feel lived in, loved and layered and ready to welcome family and friends.

Our style is traditional - classic, cozy and collected- with a touch of modern sprinkled here and there to keep things interesting✨

Our girls love that we still have the same tree from their childhood- full of the Victorian style ornaments they grew up with as well as new ones acquired recently. Some handmade by them, others are newer finds from local stores.

Our Christmas Eve gathering was family oriented and quite intimate, with delicious food representing our Honduran and Quebecois backgrounds, merry music in the background and an abundance of funny stories and traditions.
And of course, we always order pretty, tasty cookies and treats by our fave local Toronto baker @sugarfairykitchen to sweeten it all!

So far, it has been a lovely Christmas and we are truly enjoying each corner of this new place we get to call home.

The magic of the holiday is still within us and I’m not ready to let go… decorations will stay on for a little longer. My heart is full and I’m feeling very blessed!
