In my finest oil slicks

I just loved the colors of this gas station and the out-of-service pump against the deepest darkest rural Arizona sky, so I took her photo hoping to use it for single artwork. And I knew if we used it, I would wear this jacket. It all wound up being perfect for Don’t Think About It. On the nose with the lighter in the gas station, but how could we not?

DTAI out now :)

“Prophet” is the voice in my head saying get over yourself.

Sometimes clarity doesn’t come until the season ends — when you realize you were talking more than listening.

This song helped me open my ears a little wider.

Years ago someone challenged me to stop living in my head and start loving with my heart. Sometimes people don’t need your analysis—they just want to feel your love.

Sometimes we use intelligence to avoid feeling.
That’s how people end up alone.
