Finding experienced sugarists to join your team isn't always easy. 👀

At Smooth Summit, Billie Jo shared an interesting opportunity for growing sugaring businesses: using SugarSMAC Strip Paste as a stepping stone.

Services that are performed with Strip Paste are easier to pick up for newer sugarists. And for estheticians who already know how to wax, Strip Paste can be a familiar place to start, especially for smaller services like brows and upper lips.

It's one of the ideas behind our Bridging the Gap course, helping professionals build on the skills they already have while exploring what sugaring can add to their services while growing into a fuller sugaring skill set.

Sometimes growing your team starts with looking at the skills they already bring to the table. 💛

Find the link in our bio to explore the Bridging the Gap course.

Another design job complete by the Luxe Team! A great couple days in Brandon bringing the @anzietywear & @sugarshopca collab to life! I love my people! We may have spent more on food, drinks & fun than we made but the memories are forever, the laughs filled our souls and the time together is priceless! We are thrilled with the final outcome and so excited for both of these businesses to thrive together! So go check out @sugarshopca for services and now some great shopping from @anzietywear

Reasons that speak for themselves 📢👀

One of these clients had over a month long duration between appointments, can you guess which one?🤭

I’ve had clients who have come back almost 2.5 months later with lashes holding on for dear life. If applied properly and taken care of properly they will last 👀

And for my pickers (🥲) this can be you too!!
If you felt that was directed towards you.. it was, stop picking 🤣🤍

The products I use will only ever be high quality 👏🏼

Smooth Summit 2026 💛
•
Well, the @sugarshopca & @sugar.smac Smooth Summit is officially over, and I’m leaving Winnipeg on such a high! 🥹✨ The conference was absolutely wonderful and packed with so much education, connection, and of course, TONS of product that’s coming home with me!
But beyond all of that, this trip gave me some extra time with some of my closest friends, and for that, I am eternally grateful😌
•
Now that I’m heading home, it’s officially FULL SPEED AHEAD for my move into the @phenix_newburgh salon suites, and I am SO excited! 🥳
All appointments will resume 10/14/26 in the NEWWWWW suite, and text reminders with the new address will be going out this weekend! I can’t wait to see you all when I’m back and show you the new & improved Ritter Skin & Sugar! 🫶🏻
