My favourite thing lately is these band photography shoots. Good justification for my flash gear. Thanks @ranpongisengsemartilom for filming this. #Igwantsbts #bandphotographer #nikon #godox

Thanks @buddysnewtown for letting us take over the bar for an impromptu band photo shoot.

@suitcase.cult showing what their boy band phase could look like.

@suitcase.cult at @buddysnewtown

Had the privilege to stand next to someone who was seeing the boys for the first time. Got to see their face in real time, turning from "oh, I wonder what this will be like" to "oh wow, these guys are good".

Each time they get better and better. Mostly because between each performance they are working their butts off.

Great night with some amazingly talented bands.

Here's a couple of pics to get you through the night. Lots more to edit over next few days.

📺 WE’RE GOING TO BE ON TELEVISION. 📺

Yep, you read that right. Channel 31 has picked up Volumes Up for three seasons. Somewhere, a sound guy just cried. 😂

What started as a few of us chasing bands around Sydney with cameras, gaffer tape and way too much coffee is heading to a station that’s pulled 1.2 million viewers in a single summer. Rove, Waleed Aly and Tommy Little all came up through community TV, so naturally we’re next. (Kidding. Mostly.)

Suitcase Cult, Aimee Claire and Monico: your faces are about to be on TV. Fix your hair. Thank you for trusting us with your stories. 🙏

To my crew, I’m so proud of every one of you. The early calls, the late nights, the dodgy parking and the “one more take” that was never one more take. This is yours.

And we’re not stopping:

🎸 Sunday 11th Oct at the Glenmore Hotel : Gomer Yaved Lapudo’oh

🚐 November: on the road with ChillCheney

🤘 Newcastle soon for Sky’s Law

🎤 And our young gun Arabi (aka Cal) is coming soon

Go support independent music. Buy the ticket, buy the merch, turn up to the small rooms. 🖤

All glory to God. I couldn’t do this without Jesus Christ, my Saviour.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

Proverbs 16:3

God bless. You don’t have to do everything. You just have to do something.

🎸 VOLUMES UP – LOOK BACK 🎸
Suitcase Cult – "After Hours" | Live at the Sydney Tunnels

Back in June, we took Volumes Up underground to the Sydney Tunnels with Suitcase Cult. "After Hours" cuts deep. It's raw, honest and real, everything this series stands for. It still gives me chills.

This is the first of a few look back videos I'll be sharing over the coming weeks.

📺 Some good news: it's looking like Volumes Up will be picked up by Channel 31. Fingers crossed. We hope to be up and running in a couple of weeks.

To Suitcase Cult, Monico and Aimee Claire, thank you for being part of our very first pilot series. You took a chance on an idea and made Season 1 what it is.

To my crew, you're absolutely awesome. None of this happens without you.

Above all, I can't do any of this without my Lord and Saviour. All glory to Him.

"And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD."
— Psalm 40:3 (KJV)

A new song. A new season. Same heart. Season 1 has been an absolute joy. Now it's time to turn it up for Season 2. 🔊

Volume's Up screening was supported by Suitcase Cult's acoustic set with a three man formation. One of the best bands in town. The Albion Lane production team was present. Great work and excellent production, second to none
