When I was a little kid I used to think that fireworks were for my birthday. When I was in my 20s I used to think that the Chateau was my playground. Then, I got a bit older and I realized how silly that sounded. Then, I got a bit older and I realized that wasn’t silly at all.

Meet the Speakers:

@sujataday - Pittsburgh native Sujata Day is an NAACP Image Award nominated director for her debut feature film, Definition Please, which she also wrote, produced, and stars in. Definition Please was acquired by Ava DuVernay's Array and Netflix. Sujata is known for her starring role as CeCe in Issa Rae’s The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl.

@selenisleyvaofficial - Selenis Leyva is currently recurring on the new NBC series "MIA", as well as starring in the upcoming independent film "Pedro Pan". She also starred alongside Michael B. Jordan in the global smash hit Creed III, and was one of the stars along with George Lopez in the NBC comedy Lopez Vs. Lopez.

Aida Rodriguez is a comedian, writer, actor, and author, a favorite of critics and fans alike. Her comedy special Fighting Words streams on HBOMax, and she was a standout on the Netflix series They Ready, a key collaborator on HBOMax’s Entre Nos franchise, she not only starred but also directed and produced its latest specials.

MOD. @jessimaldonadotv - National Emmy-winning journalist Jessica Maldonado is a highly respected and influential Mexican American reporter for the U.S television market. Former correspondent for NBC Telemundo Network since January 2017.
