Gehra Hua ✨

As we head into the last weekend of March, I found myself reflecting… Three months in, and this was the only workshop I made it to.

Maybe it was never about how many… maybe it was always about this one. And truthfully, it wasn’t perfect.
Turns still throw me off, and there were moments I felt out of sync…but somewhere within those missteps, I found my rhythm again. 💞

Not perfect, but present—and that counts. When was the last time you showed up for something—even if it wasn’t perfect⁉️

Finally sharing our “Gehra Hua” video from the workshops ✨

This one is special because it marks my comeback to dance.
Sometimes all you need is that one friend who gently pushes you back to what your heart truly loves.

Thank you, Suj, for that push. 💛

And this song… it just hits deep.

I’m also so grateful to all of you who were there to cheer for me and dance with me. Your love and energy meant so much.

And of course, Kola had to be there to capture this moment. 🎥

Grateful for dance, for friendship, for the love and support and for finding my way back. 💫

A 25-year-old heirloom, draped for a new beginning✨

Radiant red and temple gold, Sujana wore her grandmother’s saree — vintage, regal, and glowing as a little one quietly brews. Some sarees aren’t just worn, they carry legacies forward

Started the year off with a challenging yet beautiful and gracious Bharatnatyam × Odissi fusion routine by the stunning queens @sujkumar96 and @avanixpatel. 👑❤️
You know the choreo is goated when the heart rate goes 📈. Absolutely loved it!! 🥰

Note to self: Continue learning more classical/semi-classical styles. 💃

Today is apparently my gotcha day. My family brought me home FIVE entire years ago, and let’s just say it’s been the best 5 years of their lives 😉
I love you all, here’s to many more years of dosa dates, barking for treats and belly rubs 🫶🏽
PS: you’re welcome @sanman1998 bc I basically helped you land your wife and my bestie @rnymisha1
