At what age are we supposed to start acting our age? Asking for a friend. 😂

Because apparently, at some point, we’re supposed to become these perfectly composed, serious adults.

Who decided that growing older means becoming more serious?

I still want to laugh at inappropriate moments, make ridiculous faces, be a little silly and enjoy myself without overthinking everything.

Life gives us enough reasons to be serious.
I don’t think we need to add more. 🤍

💭 Has life ever taken you somewhere completely different from what you had planned and you ended up grateful for it?

There are parts of my life I once thought were completely ruining the plan.

Endings I didn’t want.
Delays I didn’t understand.
Things I tried so hard to control that simply refused to happen the way I imagined.

At the time, I couldn’t see beyond them.
Now I can look back and understand that my life was never going to be one clean, predictable story.

Some chapters changed me.
Some hurt me.
Some gave me things I never expected.

I do believe that some things can carry meaning we don’t understand right away.

Not because the pain itself was easy or necessary, but because sometimes time shows us what those seasons shaped in us, redirected us toward, or made space for.

I’ve learned that life not going according to plan doesn’t always mean it’s going wrong.
And sometimes the life you build afterward becomes one you couldn’t have imagined from the beginning. 🙏🤍
