PLANTS CAN DANCE at @kewgardens 🌱🌱🌱🌱💚💚💚

As part of our Plants Can Dance album campaign, we are delighted to host a residency at the world renowned Kew Gardens over the next two weekends.

We’ve been allowed special access to ‘biosonify’ some of the plants in the famous Temperate House.

Over the past few years we’ve been lucky to tour the world with many Plants Can Dance performances, workshops and installations (see 👉🏾 )… but playing at Kew is really the pinnacle!! 🤯

Join us as part of the Henry Moore After Hours programme! 💚

At @sultrymist Aldona Village, Goa, India, I was lucky enough to share the lineup with @dj_khabir_bass_boss, a true auteur and innovator in the Bengali Deck Bass scene. This is music made for a community of handmade sound system culture, pushing the intoxicating experience of low frequency sound at extremely high pressure levels to manifest new physical experiences. Contextualised by the screening of ‘Bass Boss’, a fantastic personal doc on DJ Khabir by Rana Ghose @reproduceartists , plus he, Khabir and @lobocopbombay in conversation.

Thanks to @partysmith @technowidow @sivcitron for inviting me to fulfil my teenage dreams of returning to India as a musician to play a gig. And what a gig it was 🥹

Images from the first Diagnosing And Repairing your Music Gear workshop and my first live performance with the Saarang and the modular rig at @sultrymist @tarab_instruments

A live recording of the performance is on my bandcamp.

I'm currently looking for bookings for the workshop & the live set for the months of August - December, ideally in Delhi, Mumbai, the North East and in the rest of North India. Send me a message or mail me @ hi@qaree.bi

Beautiful ride in the back to a scooter to just the most amazing blissful setup at @olaulimbackyards as the tropical night fell with @tomofenglandland and @_uma_dj then the finale with an incredible set from @electroson.wav .

Infinite thanks to meu querida amiga and inspiration @techno_widow for inviting me and love to all the gorgeous beings I met and partied with. Already planning my return! 🤞

A sky stitched by hand. 🌙✨

What began as yards of fabric slowly turned into a field of moons and sitaras — metal button covers carefully sewn on by the artisans at The Mango House, catching and reflecting light like scattered constellations.

Created in collaboration with @romanarsinghaniofficial , the piece was designed as an interactive threshold for the Art Attack performances at the @sultrymist Festival. Instead of a simple entrance, the curtain became a moment of pause — a surface that shimmered at night and invited viewers to engage with it, or simply pass through.

Part stage element, part installation, the work transformed the act of entering into an experience of light, curiosity, and choice.

We’re grateful to have played a small part in bringing this thoughtful and striking project to life. 💫

New!
Memory of objects and everyday things..

We often surround ourselves with objects that trigger memories of wonder, love and nostalgia
Every object that surrounds us has a life of its own, including the ‘mundane’ everyday things

This collection is a collective of those memories
