my little sister sent this photo to me a few months back, and I just couldn’t get it out of my head. She was looking through old photo albums (my parents did such a wonderful job documenting our childhood), and included this in a batch of a few that she loved. Something about this photo just really stuck with me… my two sisters, so carefree and young and with me. Frozen in time, sunshine through the window of the old house. I could feel exactly how that moment felt. These are my favorite memories ever, and because of my parents, I’m so lucky to be able to look back on them and paint them.
