"Volleyball has inspired me in so many ways, but the endless opportunities that come a long the way are what struck me the most. It opened doors that I never thought were ever meant for me, such as being recruited to represent one of the most prominent schools in the country, the Ateneo de Manila University, or playing for the no. 1 men’s volleyball club in the Philippines for my professional career, Cignal HD Spikers.

Being a volleyball player made me realize the value of teamwork and giving myself an introspect, helping me nurture my character when conflicts arise inside the court. These lessons helped me build the stairs to support myself in getting closer to my dream to represent my country in the international stage.

I have a strong passion for this sport because I love what I am doing and hopefully in the future, I can share my story to inspire young athletes."
