To say this place was filled with tons of good people is an understatement. Everywhere I turned there was a new but friendly face and all these faces turned into friendships that will last a lifetime. Being able to attend the 97th National FFA Convention representing Area III as a delegate was beyond amazing. Our week may have been long and filled with committee work, business sessions, and general sessions but I wouldn’t trade any of that for the world. Being part of something so much bigger than myself was truly a life changing experience!!

One last walk in the blue jacket at the national FFA convention in Indianapolis to receive my American degree. The journey was fun but is far from over, have big plans for the future and the fun is not over yet ether. Also got to see some good friends as well. Thank you to everyone who supported me and watch me through my journey in the blue jacket. Not bad for a kid that started out in the pig ring when he was 2 and even from the welding shop

My Heart is Filled with Love and Gratitude!

When I was fortunate enough to join FFA, I had no idea the journey that laid ahead. This past year, I was honored to be embraced by Texas FFA and 11 teammates who have become family.

To all those who have supported me over the years, thank you for everything. Thank you for the love and encouragement that pushed me to where I am now.

We were each planted for a purpose. My garden of circumstances has flourished because of the opportunities and love that the blue and gold gave me, and for that, I am forever grateful.

With this FFA chapter closed, I am excited to see where my story leads next.

I love you all endlessly, Texas FFA!

there is beauty in your imperfections because they make YOU, YOU! The creator of this universe looked down on the world and realized it needed one more perfectly imperfect person because without you it was simply incomplete. 🌸🪻🌺🌼🌷

as I do not make this post to boast in my accomplishments. I make this post to remind you of His love and goodness. A year ago I prayed for a sign on whether I should run for state office or not. The song WHO AM I by Needtobreathe had been on my mind. I asked God in some way to reveal this sign to me. The very next day in my teachers old area officer book hand written at the top was the words Who Am I. I remember knowing that I had to do what he called me to, but felt so unworthy and unqualified for the job. It was then I was reminded that every great story in the word is not the one with the most accomplishments or highest status. It is the one who is the “least among you”. This year has taught me many things but first and foremost it taught me that God does not call the qualified, he qualifies the called. You were born for such a time as this…no matter what.

My post is a little late but late is better than never. FFA state convention is one of my favorite weeks of the year. From surviving a hurricane and losing power for most of the day to meeting new people and running around like crazy trying our best so our team will win the picture scavenger. 2024 Texas ffa state convention was quite a page turner. FFA has been my rock Theo the last couple years and the friends I have made in the ffa will have a special place in my heart forever. It was a joy meeting everyone and I can’t wait to see y’all through the year at competitions and seeing everyone at convention next year!!!
