Hunting elevated. 🌳
Engineered for the hunt. Trusted for generations.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

When you’re hunting from a treestand, every advantage counts. @wildliferesearchcenter Calming Scent Stick contains real urine drippings and natural scents harvested from actual deer bedding areas and replicates the comforting scent of multiple deer to create a “safety in numbers” effect, which helps relax cautious or pressured deer and encourages them to linger longer in range.

The long-lasting and weather-resistant wax formula is designed for all-season use (from early season through the rut) and easily rubs onto tree bark, branches, or shooting lanes.

Easy to carry, simple to apply, and designed to help reduce a deer’s natural alarm response, Calming Scent Stick is a smart addition to your hunting strategy.

Another great product to add to your arsenal from our friends at Wildlife Research Center.

A beautiful evening hunt ✨
.
We switched things up! Hunted a property closer to home. We definitely had our fair share of OPPS,
F*** them squirrels, and did you see that monster buck!!
.
I am still 100% still learning how to effectively saddle hunt. Truthfully can’t Decide if I love it or hate it 😅 let’s just say my bag fell 10 ft to the ground and my partner gladly got down to help me out. 🤦🏽‍♀️ A Dr.pepper may have also fell on the ground while he tried to pass it to me.
.
But….. we saw a HUGE buck! Just didn’t get a shot. It came in with a spike and he jumped at nothing walking away from us and they both were gone. We also had another buck come in from behind just didn’t get close enough
.
Lots of memories, lessons, and tired legs ✨🫶🏼😅

🦌💨 💥🥊🦌 If you’re a hunter, you have never TRULY lived until you see 2 bucks fighting.

Let me tell you, you would love to take one, but to see the woods come alive in this way is simply amazing 🤩!

It is October, that means it’s the pre-rut, where these bucks tend to leave their bachelor groups and establish dominance over a territory. This is different from the actual rut where they fight over a doe. 🌎

These 2 bucks obviously could not come to an agreement on whose territory this belonged to, so fisticuffs were in order! 🤺

To see the sheer strength and determination of these two bucks, was nothing shy of jaw dropping! 😧

Once you hear 2 different tones of low long grunts and maybe even a snort wheeze, you know there are 2 bucks in the area, you know something is about to go down, just stay still and keep your eyes scanning the area! 😬

This is nature, nothing soft about it, this is Darwin’s theory of evolution in the flesh, this is the survival of the fittest, this is the strong survive and the weak perish in action! 💪🏽

Get outside and witness this for yourself, the woods are calling you! 🌳🗣️👂🏽

Still waiting for a big ole nanny to come by, or a big rack. In the meantime, I’m just enjoying the views of gods creation.

At the end of a long day, a man just wants to know his tools work! I choose carefully and cull quickly. Everything I have has purpose and I’m going to test its limits. One thing I don’t plan to change any time soon is my bowhunting set up. I ran the same @goldtiparrows Velocity Pro .300 thru two mature whitetail does today and all I did was throw a new @grimreaperbroadheads Carnifour 100 grain head on between hunts! Two deer, one shot at 23 yards the other at 26, one on private one on public. Combined less than 100 yard of blood trailing! I can’t ask more for than that!

[ Remember Folks ]

RULE # 1: DON'T FALL ASLEEP WITH A SNACK IN THE TREE STAND.

‘Cause if you nod off with a Little Debbie, you’re liable to wake up to a buck eatin’ it and a squirrel haulin’ off the wrapper.
