Today marks a special day in the gaming industry and my personal life as today marks the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy 10: my all time favorite videogame. By now everyone knows about when I first played this game as a kid; it blew my mind seeing a game that was realistic both in art/graphics but its storytelling and how I have a personal connection to Tidus because how we share the same personality and struggles. Today, I want to celebrate by showcasing the history of me cosplaying as Tidus from the beginning until today; the many groups I’ve been a part of; all the friends I’ve made, the copies and PS vita limited edition I own, and photos/videos from the voice actors I’ve met over the years. To my parents that made me buy this game, thank you! To the developers that created this masterpiece, thank you! To the voice actors that I met; thank you for. And to all the friends both online, thank you for hearing my love for the game and to my friends in the cosplay community; thank you for being my second family. Enjoy this special post and the legacy of final fantasy X and X-2 will continue for many years to come!!! #finalfantasy10 #tiduscosplay #25thanniversary #finalfantasyx #fightingspirit

The moon is blue once more 😂

It's nice to take a beat, take stock of all the cosplays put together and cool things done in a year. Thank you to the peeps new and old that made 2025 a special one. To 2026, I will make this a year of growth, adventure, bond building, unhinged behavior and fun!

Props to @miggychagon for the Amarant Amano solo
And @wsikanderlife for the FF9 group photo. Great work!

More cosplays to come 🍓🥛 🕶️ 🧛🏿‍♂️ 🤾🏿‍♂️ (Some bad hints. Stay tuned lol)

Quite possibly THE meetup of 2025; the second annual Final Fantasy + Square Enix AnimeNYC 2025 meetup! As you all know, 2024’s AnimeNYC was the first time I hosted a cosplay meetup so to return to the same event where it all began one year later is an amazing feeling. It was so special to see so many of my friends from this community joining this event once again but also seeing some new friends as other friends I met in the past year joining with all of us too as we had cosplayers from not just Final Fantasy games but other square enix series like Nier, Kingdom Hearts, Octopath, Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all my friends for being such an amazing second family to me and everyone else that join, you are all such amazing and talented individuals and enjoy viewing all these amazing photos! #animenyc2025 #finalfantasy #finalfantasycosplay #squarenix #cosplaymeetup

Its good to be back at #nycc, this time as a cosplayer! First time was back in 2018 and it was great, but cosplaying makes it truly phenomenal. Feels like you're part of the story!

I'm looking forward to doing all the days in 2026 and fulfilling some upcoming cosplans.

As always, I'd like to thank everyone pictured for being part of the experience.

Being MetalBat 🏏 from #onepunchman feels natural. A guy who, despite being a lil edgy, never yields and always fights for the people.

Though times may get hard, remember: 🗣"Heroes never lose!" 🗣

Moving so quickly you forget to get some ppl's tags, so feel free to DM me if you can ID anyone I missed!
