The Season to Give Thanks

Dedicating this post to myself

“Lazy, unorganized, selfish, unambitious”—and many more labels I was given as a young, ignorant person

I've tasted the top before, but most of the time, it felt like luck played a bigger role than hard work. It seemed that those closest to me had to sacrifice more so I could live up to my potential. Those victories don’t resonate the same way

No measurable goals were set for this show; I wasn't concern with how much weight I needed to lose, what body fat percentage I needed to reach, or what placing I aimed to achieve. I just put my head down and grinded. I guess that’s why I was able to dig so deep and unlock a whole new level of mentality

Before the show, I lay down and tears started to flow. I felt the good, the bad, the journey, the people—I felt everything. I found peace and I know I left no regrets

I want to thank myself for not letting the old me be overtaken by temptations; for empowering change while holding onto it; for rewriting my story and finding new passion; and for reuniting and hugging my loved ones without losing my true caring self

To those who have been calling me “champ” since the first day—thank you for letting me believe I can slowly live up to this title

May this new me navigate every role and aspect of life with grace

Until we step on stage again🫶🏻

Team Dayson❤️‍🔥

Dedicating this post to my biggest support, my corner, my family

I am so proud of us @sun.nyday__ BC cup was supposed to be the end of your stress😹 but we both know I wanted redemption. Thank you for allowing me to continue this dream and passion; thank you for being here side by side through all good and bad days; I always tell others that you sacrificed the most, it was like you were prepping as well😭
Nothing feels better than making you proud. I love you soooo much 🤍 We did it baby, WE DID IT!🥹🥇

I can barely recall the last competition you both came to watch, it was definitely more than a decade ago😱 @irene.c_ht It filled my heart having you witnessed my passion as a competitor and a performer on stage. My music composer @t3d_s3npai my vision for my routine came alive because of you🪩

@j.tang944 My biggest spotter, my best friend, my twin👶🏻👶🏻 I never requested but you chose to give me your biggest support throughout this prep; you never complained no matter how long my workouts have become nor the places I gotta train at. We basically have been carrying each other ever since we met lmao
I showed God my ambition, God gave me a brother👊🏼 NOW LET'S GET HUGE TOGETHER 🦍🦍

@hunniexty You have so much passion for this sport and thank you for getting tickets for both of my shows😂💸 I can't wait to prep with you and maybe share this stage with you someday😈 (if not please continue to be best babysitter🤣)

Thank you for being one of the loudest cheerleaders @daisyq.q @ben.axford @willyumliang @j_anne1118

my heart cannot be fuller

To you all - I will always be here in your corner ❤️‍🔥

BC Cup 24' 🏆

Appreciation post - friends and family

I may not come in 1st in my classes but these people are my biggest prize 🥇

They are the reason I didn't give up on my 100 min cardios, my safety bars to push through my trainings, my motivation to stick to my diet throughout prep. Travelling all the way to Kelowna and support me gave me the biggest pump than any pre workout I ever had🔥

This show costs a lot more than I budgeted, biggest thanks to my mom who's been supporting me in all possible ways to make this prep less stressful @irene.c_ht 🫶🏻

The donuts and refeed are sweeter than I imagine because of them🍩

P.s doing each other dirty as always on last picture 💀
