I’m not even planning on going anywhere today… I just wanted to experiment with my new hair extensions, put on my “new” (to me) vintage Y2K top and feel pretty 💗💚

I’ve been finding little ways to bring myself joy lately with no particular reason in mind other than that.

I kept seeing pumpkin spice matcha popping up at Starbucks and a few local coffee shops, but was so sad to discover that the pumpkin spice syrups contained dairy. 🥲🎃

So obviously I had to try making my own at home. 😉

After several different versions, I finally landed on one I love… and surprisingly, the thing that made all the difference was the pumpkin spice ice. (Why does that rhyme so perfectly? 😂)

The syrup alone wasn’t giving me quite as much pumpkin flavor as I wanted, so I made little pumpkin ice cubes with actual pumpkin purée. As they melt into the matcha, they add that extra pumpkin flavor I felt like it was missing… plus just LOOK AT THEM. 🎃🤭
