POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@sundogaltars created by Soleil, is a collection of locally handcrafted ceramic altars made to hold space for loved ones, special trinkets, pictures, found treasures, and anything your heart desires. Each altar is created with intention, offering a small place to honor what matters to you. Each one becomes unique to the person who fills it, allowing the objects and stories within it to become part of the artwork and creating a place to honor what we carry in our hearts. 🫧✨🕯️💛. A collection of some of my favorite tintype portraits made over the past few years in Chico. Truthfully it’s the top nine portraits on my website portfolio of wet plate collodion. I can really see my aesthetic sensibility and portrait style when I zoom out like this.

I am booking tintype portraits this fall so DM me for information on rates and packages! I’m also planning on a few pop-ups in Bidwell Park (dates tbd) these autumn months when temperatures are perfect 🌞

So special and inspiring to share my art with my community.

I tried putting my art on clothes for the first time and was met with so much support for those as well as for my lovely ladies and creations that I have turned to stickers and prints to adorn your walls and mugs and cars and anything you choose!

Putting my art out there can feel vulnerable as it is a piece of me, but putting it into the world and being met with support and love is so encouraging.

I have felt like I am bursting with creative energy lately, creating is a safe place for me to turn when life feels any sorts of hard. So my hope is that by bringing my art to the community I am able to share that love and light with you all that I feel when creating it.

A message to my fellow artists ~ Sometimes we do not feel bursting with creative energy and it is harder to create. That is okay. Artistic slumps are normal and I often find myself in them as well, but your art is always within you and it will come out always in the right time. The world and people yearrrrnnn for art and creation and community and love and light 💗💗💗keep your head up and keep creating

Spirit guide planters by @sacredceramicsart bring true presence into your space — I know because I have one at home, & it’s such a joy & an honor to commune with mine every day!

Everything in this photo is an absolute treasure: Natalie’s planter, of course, as well as two ceramic mugs by @reddirtclayworks , ceramic luna moth cup by @stonewarehare , ceramic wall altar by @muddmuse , California sticker by @pen.and.pine , wooden fern ornaments by @willsuiter . . . this doesn’t even scratch the surface of what we’ve got in stock. Come take a look for yourself!!
