My main live and studio guitar. The Jackson Juggernaut is the backbone of all the riffs and leads for Sun Eater.
Powerd by two Lundgren m7‘s, this is the pure metalmachine.
I love the silverburst sparkle because …. sparkle !!!
I am deeply honored to offically be a part of the Jackson family 🩸🩸🩸 #itsinmyblood

As one of the most punishing, razor-sharp tracks in their discography, “Wounds” cuts deep from the second you hit play. It takes the dark, subterranean atmosphere they established with “Moria” and sharpens it into a jagged blade, delivering an aggressive, bleeding-edge assault that refuses to hold back.

⚔️ Raw Emotional Laceration: What makes “Wounds” so potent is the sheer, unbridled hostility layered beneath its technical precision. The atmospheric lead work weaves a haunting, somber thread through the track, making every devastating drop feel personal, heavy, and deeply cathartic.

🗣️ The Vocal Exorcism: The vocal performance on this cut is pure, unfiltered agony. Moving seamlessly from throat-shredding high shrieks that slice right through the mix to bottom-heavy, cavernous gutturals.

🎸 Surgical Guitar Work & Razor Riffs: The guitarists step up the plate with staggering dexterity here. Moving between rapid-fire sweep picking, chaotic tremolo runs, and heavy, down-tuned chugs, the fretwork keeps the energy electric while maintaining a suffocatingly thick low-end.

🔨 The Bone-Snapping Collapse: When the tension reaches its breaking point, “Wounds” drops into a slow, dragging, heavy-as-lead breakdown that feels like an anvil dropping through the floorboards. The rhythm section locks in with surgical accuracy, crushing the remaining track with violence.

Drop a 🩸in the comments if this track is permanently locked in your gym rotation!

ESP LTD EX-7 Black Metal in matte black // easily became my favorite live guitar! Loving the full-on extreme metal design and the classic single pickup setup with the EMG-81 to keep the low notes snappy. This thing rips and I’m super proud to officially be part of the ESP family now🔥
