Building a community is fascinating. When I created Brand You Connect, I had a clear vision: a space filled with women who work with passion and creativity. And offering them a space to both network and focus on themselves, their personal brands and their visibility. Each month, we meet online. We connect. We get to know each other. I host the sessions in a way that feels relaxed and open, but I also make sure everyone walks away having made the most of the opportunity. We have guest speakers, we run Brand Clinics, breakout sessions, polls, group brainstorming and we listen. Actually listen. It's networking, it's varied and it's valuable. And then there are the Brand You Socials. After our first one back in January, it became clear that these more intimate and curated events are needed. I watched my members and guests completely lose themselves in the vibe. Friendships were made. Deepened. There was deep conversation, there was laughter, there was that rare, beautiful permission to drop the mask and just be. And I'm doing it again. In a few weeks. Different venue. Different vibe. Different speaker. New guests joining us for the very first time, and I can't wait to take them all on a new journey. An Odyssey. January was about setting goals. This time, it's about growth and action. We have a few spaces remaining if you feel this is the lift YOU need right now. Thursday 23rd April, 1pm to 5pm, London. (Ticketing closes 17th April) Link in bio.

“Uncomfortable delight.” “I didn’t realise how much leverage I actually have.” “The doors have been blown off.” “I feel far more resonance with what I’m creating and what I want to be known for.” “Wow. wow.” Just some of the reflections from founders in our 3 part strategic immersion, Positioned to Convert yesterday. Part 2 was not passive learning. It was a working room. ✔️We pressure tested positioning and the territory each founder is claiming. ✔️Identified where conversations, messaging and offers were leaking conversions. ✔️Helped founders articulate their value with far greater clarity and conviction. ✔️Uncovered leverage they were not seeing in their brand, expertise and networks. ✔️Answered real business questions in real time. Worked through practical exercises that sharpen how they speak about what they do. The kind of clarity that can otherwise take years of trial, second guessing and missed opportunities. Between Sara Marshall, Richard Moore and myself, the insights shared were not theoretical. They have been lived, tested and delivered repeatedly with founders, businesses and in our own journeys. Strategy. Brand. Conversions. Through a full lens. Watching the conversations unfold, the questions asked and the breakthroughs in the room was a powerful reminder that proximity to the right thinking accelerates everything. Well done to the founders in the room. Some uncomfortable truths. Powerful breakthroughs. And more still to land as we head into Part 3. A huge thank you to the @artotellondonhoxton London team for the incredible service, and @sunflowereventteam for the seamless event support I even managed a swim and sauna in before with sound bowls calmly playing in the background. Bonus ✨ Such a buzz when an idea comes to life and gets delivered. It was fun doing the venue visit, and intentionally curating this experience. ❓What’s something you’ve had the courage to make happen? Off to Edinburgh today and my heart is full. I’m heading north to cheer and champion @totallyhela as she hosts @sistersnog’s first ever event in Scotland (where she now resides) - Tartan Thread. I recall being at the first Sistersnog event in December 2002 so there is history. The last Sistersnog Tartan affair I went to was back in 2019 👀. And while some of the sisters around that table may no longer be directly involved with Sistersnog, we still all call ourselves sisters. That bond doesn’t disappear, it deepens. It’s a beautiful thing. This is what the sisterhood looks like in action. Women gathering around a table sharing great food. Stories dropped. Connections deepened. Opportunities created together, not competitively. If you’re a curious, connected business woman with a #sisterlyvibe, I couldn’t recommend this more. 📍 Edinburgh 🗓 Thursday 29 January 2026 ⏰ 12:00–3:30pm 📍 Contini The warmest of welcomes truly awaits. Who would you bring with you to a table like this? #WomenSupportingWomen #Collaborationovercompetition #Sisterhood #lorrainemyview

The Journal of #Sisterliness had its catwalk debut at @brandyoushowtime in the #brandvillage Bit of a story here… Marie-Louise from @lovelyevolutiondesign gave me a rather lovelie Xmas gift at the @sistersnog #heavenlyangels Festive Friday event in 2022 A journal full of loveliness. OMG! I want to create one - thought I…but who can work with me to make it happen…🤔 Hmmm! Well - Marie-Louise decided to jump into the sea and be the creative mermaid 🎨🧑‍🎨🫟🧜🏻‍♀️who has added to the canvas by taking my #shoewoohoo collection and making them digital. The Journal of Sisterliness is a passion project. A fabulous example of what can happen if like minds collaborate. Thank you to Hannah @sunflowereventteam for being our Numero UNO owner of a Journal. We have gone down the Amazon route in the first instance - which is an interesting experiment (learning all the time & will be picking the brains of journalesque #sisters such as @joannatocher_holistics) Would you like to know more about the ‘behind the scenes & back story’ about how Marie-Louise & I took an idea & made it real? 🤔 Perhaps you’d like to create your very own branded journal 📖📓📔

September’s #plumshowcase is a voyage of discovery into the Chapter & Verse of ‘Once Upon A Time’ and how to make stories believable, workable, informative and memorable in business. Modern business is full of stories that communicate ‘the whats and wherefores’. They float around in the ether and find an audience. There’s so much to learn from stories and storytellers. And in the business arena audiences are more demanding - they demand to be entertained. At the end of the #plumshowcase sessions, Zoomsters will have stepped into the chapters of five storymakers at Sister Snog and learned how to create stand-out tales. In the #hotseat @oliviamarocco1 Go behind the curtain to get the backstory on what it takes to create an in-person extravaganza. @andrealrichards_ Sit tight as five decades of determination & passion unfold and why hitting 50 marks a mega milestone. @totallyhela Follow in the footsteps of a passion project between two Sisters who joined forces. @sunflowereventteam Uncover and discover the formula behind Sunflower Events Team’s rise to brand leadership. @binabriggsltn Gain insider knowledge on book marketing from the author of The Red Thread. #storiestotell #storiestoinspire #everyonehasastorytotell #tellyourstory #plumshowcase #sistersnogconnects #femalefoundersclub #businesswomen #womensupportingwomen

It’s a #rainyweekend in #hove but I actually love ☔️ The sound of #raindrops & smell of the pavement after a downpour. I must admit I got rather caught out on my early morning 6am walk today. If you’re lucky - there’s always the surprise of a rainbow 🌈 thats extra special if you see a #doublearch. Not today unfortunately but you’ll see from the photos #helaiphonesnapper I’ve snapped a few. #sundayquote : Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… it’s about learning to dance in the rain. Vivian Greene Might go for a little ⛈️💃🏼 this afternoon #wetweekends☔️ #umbrelladays #hovelife #weekendmood #rainbowchaer #singinganddancingintherain 🎶
