We are BLACK WOMEN!..... We build.... We don’t tear down other BLACK WOMEN.... We have felt the pain of being torn down and we have decided we will deliberate about building others! If I didn’t tag you please don’t be offended. I tried to pick people I thought would do this challenge!! All too often... we LADIES find it easier to criticize each other instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let’s do something positive!! 💙Upload a picture of yourself.... ONLY you. Then tag as many SISTERS to do the same. Let’s build ourselves up, instead of tearing ourselves down. 👑COPY AND PASTE 👑Love for all my Queens. 🤎🤎 #blacklivesmatter #blackisbeautiful

• Motivational Monday. Can’t believe so much time has gone by since I met these three!?! They are so beautiful, hilarious, and oh so FLY! They motivate me beyond words — fashionably, spiritually, mentally, etc. I tell them often life is better with y’all! Thanks to Jesus + J. Bolin for bringing us together 💕

On this day 108 years ago Clarence won his first of SEVEN Boston Marathons after doctors warned that he should STOP running due to a heart murmur. His record for most wins and oldest winner at 41 for his 7th victory in 1930 have never been broken.
At the time doctors were unaware of the connection between exercise and cardiovascular health...good thing Clarence followed his instincts & not what the doctor had to say.
Clarence discovered that Running brought him JOY in a life begun in hardship. DeMar grew up poor, his father died when he was 10 and his mother moved the family of six to Massachusetts where DeMar was sent away to a school for orphans in Boston to learn a trade. Growing up mostly on his own, he ended up earning degrees from Harvard and BU, winning an Olympic Medal, serving in the Army during WWI, becoming a teacher - and running...He never gave up what brought him JOY - to run and work hard.
Your Peace Pause doesn’t mean you have to sit and be STILL - you can be running, swimming, walking, cycling, jumping or dancing during the Peace Pause - but Pause in your stream of thoughts and shift them to PEACE & join together at 11am PST ~ 2pm EST. Thanks Clarence for the inspiration! .
